To sign up for a speech, either a) fill out the form on the left, b) directly contact our President or Vice President Education, or c) be present when we take speech signups at the end of our meetings.
Typically, we allow up to 3 prepared speeches at each meeting.
Speech sign-up is first come, first served, except for special occasions.
The deadline to sign up or cancel a speech is by the end of Monday of the corresponding week. IF YOU DON'T SHOW UP FOR YOUR SPEECH WITH LATE NOTIFICATION (AFTER MONDAY) OR NO NOTIFICATION AT ALL, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SIGN UP FOR A SPEECH FOR THE NEXT 4 WEEKS!
You can sign up for a speech up to 4 weeks in advance.
Within 36 hours of any speech sign-up request, you will receive an email from one of our officers briefing you on when you've been scheduled for.
Waitlisted members (on the Speech (SPARE) section of the spreadsheet) will be notified if their speech gets bumped up (so be prepared!)
Speeches cannot be given on consecutive weeks (you can't sign up for a speech for weeks 1 & 2, for instance), save for special circumstances.
